knitting and sports

Last night we were given tickets to a Phoenix Coyote's hockey game, as a hockey fan I know how cold it is in the arena. I did not want to wear gloves but did want to have warm hands. My solution, taking my knitting to the arena. I had my own version of a stitch and pitch, During the time we were at the game which the Coyotes lost, I got the brim on a hat done. This is a great way to keep warm without gloves! My husband thought I may have been nutty but I was not shivering!!!! I have also done it an Angels ball game. I am finding that the smaller projects are easier to work with in a confined space. So if you want keep your hands busy at a sporting event I highly recommend that do so and soon!!!
